Halloween horrors....

As it's Halloween, I just wanted to share and recommend a couple of scary titles that have just recently been released and that I think are just perfect for this most gruesome of holidays.

First up is Poor Jeffrey by Paul Flewitt. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Poor-Jeffrey-Paul-Flewitt-ebook/dp/B00FW9OFNM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383230473&sr=8-1&keywords=poor+jeffrey

Jeffrey is a clumsy fellow who is always getting into mishaps so it is no big surprise when he is killed after falling into the road. Unfortunately his best friends are reluctant to see him
go and use dark magicks to help bring him back, leaving him in a kind of limbo state stuck somewhere between life and death.

When a cannibalistic serial killer comes to town, these friends (including Jeffrey) all soon discover that their fates are inexplicably linked with a spate of recent murders.  What happens next is as shocking as it is unexpected...

Poor Jeffrey is Paul's debut novel and is a cracking read just perfect for Halloween. Somewhere between a Zombie novel mixed with elements of Clive Barker, Poor Jeffrey is a great first novel that will stay with readers long after the last page has been turned....

My second recommendation is Alex Laybourne's Diaries Of The Damned. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Diaries-Damned-Alex-Laybourne-ebook/dp/B00G4UF61S/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1383231146&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=diaries+of+the+cdamned

Evacuated during a Zombie outbreak, one reporter finds himself being cast in together with a group of other survivors, who all decide to share their individual stories in a bid to discover the truth behind the infection. But as they draw ever closer to their unknown destination, it soon becomes apparent that there is a very good chance the outbreak was started deliberately....

Set in and around my home City of Norwich, Alex comes originally from East Anglia, Diaries is a cracking Zombie novel that comes in the form of several different accounts of
the Zombie outbreak. As terrifying as it is laced with dark humour, this novel is a joy to read and will leave you hooked right up until the end! Alex is an awesome new writer and you should really check him out...

Both these authors are known to me and both are thoroughly good blokes! Please help support them this Halloween by checking out their books and if you DO like what you read, please leave the guys a review!

Feedback is very important to fledgling writers and I know both these fellas would appreciate it!

If you only buy two horror novels this Halloween, make it Diaries and Poor Jeffrey!
